Irene in Casablanca 1950's

In the 1940's Irene began her journey as a perfumer. She meet her husband, an Army/Air Corp Reserve legal officer  home from the war in Jacksonville, Florida.  He gave up his civilian law practice and returned to duty once they determined they wanted to travel and stay in the military.  From Jacksonville they moved their little family to Louisville, Kentucky, to Germany and shortly afterward to Casablanca, Morocco.  There she meet her neighbor and soon to be friend, a retired Egyptian Perfumer.  He gave her the gift of becoming her teacher for 4 years.  That knowledge was carried with her to all parts of the world during their time in the US Air Force.  She continued to incorporate the ancient methods and to became knowledgeable  in modern perfumes along her path...
